Approximately 20m of lace are needed on a typical 1742 coat. Please note that it is not always possible to reproduce certain regimental lace patterns on modern looms, although it may be possible on a hand loom. In cases where it is possible on a machine loom but not in stock a minimum of 100m must be woven @ approximately £1.50pm.. Please note fabric costs for all uniforms are approximate and Do NOT include lace or button prices, prices for these are dependant on regiment etc. Fabrics used are current MOD standard or equivalent and uniforms are made raw edged where accurate
